2 weeks to leave and i’ll be back in France... So i have two weeks to achieve the project and have fun a lot...

For the project, we did it... at least we made the video of the 3 parts, at home, collecting process, and sorting and landfill part... Now there is still the last step : “what we could do with waste” and we will go on Thursday to visit the valorisation center of Celje, where the waste is valorised into energy and heating... So at least for the alstr day, i could do some montage again on the project... i like it even we had a lot of difficulties with “dead frames” and cuting and also exporting the videos when it’s made... and also i had to write the subtitles again,et bla bla et bla bla bla...

But the highlight of the week, was the “Open doors day” in the Gymnasium (high school) of Konjice, where we presented (Antoine, Giulia, Elena and me) what we are doing in Konjice and one lesson of our mother tongue.... A short presentation of 45 minutes in english about France, Slovenia and french ... Was a good moment, and i discovered that all students are in slipers in the hall of the gymnasium as in France in the kindergarden...Strange...

Otherwise we made a lot of postering this week: Do you know why? Not because there are more events this week to do publicity about it, but because the posters are taken off by somebody... Probably an ex-EVS in Patriot to make fun about it... or somebody who is collecting all posters of the MCDD... So we went 2 or 3 times to do Postering, trying to hide ourself to discover who is doing this... We are unlucky detectives...

On Thursday i went in Maribor to work on the grenn building project, and when i came back we went in the evening to relax us with gong music. We were so zen, it is really great... i hope it will be a second session next week...

On Friday, i helped Antoine to write the čacopis, the volunteers newspaper... the theme was Winter and 5th of DEcember, the International Volunteer Day... Don't forget it... :-D

We also went for a meeting about a recital of poesy which will take place on the second of December... for the birthday of France Prešeren, the most famous slovenian poet  who wrote the national authem... and ...

We prepared posters  and flyers with Anja for the “Nothing Buy Day – Dan brez Nakupov” (was on Saturday)...

And on Friday afternoon, Antoine and me left the girls at home (so they had all the weekend to clean it :-D) to go in Budapest... and visit the city... Totally different from Slovenia and so big in comparison of sl Konjice... Was a great week end even it was rainy... See you next week...Where? You should better ask the waves and clouds...:-D

Time is running... really... Last week was almost like a day...  too many things to do...so too short...

I worked on the video which starts to be on the good way, even we had some problems with files and I had to download and import twice the videos... and so one... We are also looking for the soundtrack (if possible connected with the garbage...) so if you have idea,... don’t hesitate to tell us...

Montage is really long work, maybe because i think i don’t know enough about the details of the program, but it is ok...  We almost finished 3 parts of 4 of the video, also the subtitles, which is really taking a lot of time... It is also planned to do a speaking slovene version, that barbara will record for us... And then we will visit on the 4th of December the center of energetic valorisation in Celje in order to close the documentary... Will be great...

Otherwise, and always connected to video editing, and because i don’t want to be bored with montaging..., we made with Antoine (again) 2 videos shooting and editing as tribute to last volunteers who left : first was about Ben and die Nudeln, the second is about Dup and the belgian tartine... 2 others if we have time will come soon...

I also went in Maribor to work about green buildings 2 afternoons... and did translation from slovene-german to french of technical texts... Like a foot in the real (work) life...

The last but not the least... there will be a event and party on the 5th of December for the volunteer's day... we are preparing it with giulia and the youth center, and we will show works of volunteers, presentation and promotion of reggae festival, air-guitare tournament ... and other surprises...

The last week finished when we went in Maribor to drop julien (a volunteer in pekarna in MB) and walk in the city....was good to rest a bit in Maribor after the HIP-HOP Party...

On saturday, there was an english week-end in Gorenje (near Zrece) with youngsters... we took part to some theater activities with them, was funny and totally new for me... Slovenian young people are very good in english, incredible... we also played basketball, uno, get the lunch (i think that some youngs are still laughing of my question : is it cheese? cause of my name... ) and exchange about France, hobbies, etc  (they are very curious)
We prepared a theater short-story based on characters of an english book (matilda)... was really an exciting day... such kind of a day that you realised that you could do Theater...

On friday we organised with Antoine a dart tournament... but unfortunately, just one (drunk) player came... next time, i hope it will be more successfull (even if this time i won)... 

The rest of the week, we mainly worked with Antoine on the video project about waste management. especially on cutting and montaging... we done a good work... Now we have to work on explanation and subtitles... the main work i think...

This week was also strange again... Luisa left on wednesday to go back in sardinian paradise island, and we went to drop her at the airport of Trieste... to be sure that she left... ;-)... With less people at home, it was already strange, but now it’s more bizarre... like a big vacuum (grand vide)... cause now there is nobody at home for the coffee-ringo break in the morning, teach me the italian cooking recipes, tell me shitty and funny things in italian, play cards (pinella) in the evening and exchange, laugh a lot, discuss and speak about everything and all the time...  :-D...

Now i'm starting my last month of my EVS...2 weeks to finish the video about waste managment, and 2 weeks to achieve the project ... and i have also to think to my come back in France and start something new...

When i'm looking  the last 5 months back : EVS is really a wonderful and great life-experience...
